Manner India is a Jaipur-based handcrafted jewellery brand founded by jewellery artist and gemologist Swati Sahu. We create 925 sterling silver jewellery with transparent meenakari enamel — wearable art rooted in Indian craft heritage, designed for celebrations, weddings, gifting and everyday expression.

What is meenakari jewellery?

Meenakari is an ancient Indian art form originating in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where artisans fuse coloured enamel onto metal surfaces. At Manner India, we specialise in plique-à-jour meenakari — a transparent enamel technique where light passes through the piece like a stained-glass window, creating a luminous, modern effect unique to our collections.

What metal do you use?

All Manner India jewellery is crafted in 925 sterling silver — meaning 92.5% pure silver alloyed for strength and durability. Many pieces are finished with high-quality gold plating. Every piece carries an anti-tarnish coating so your jewellery stays beautiful longer with minimal care.

Are your pieces handcrafted?

Every single Manner India piece is handcrafted by skilled karigars in Jaipur. We do not use bulk manufacturing. Each jewel is made slowly, with intention — where precision and detail take the time they deserve.

Do you offer custom or bespoke jewellery?

How long does a custom order take?

Custom and bespoke orders typically take 3 to 4 weeks from the date of design confirmation. This includes design consultation, handcrafting, quality checks and packaging. We recommend beginning your custom order at least 6 weeks before your occasion to allow comfortable lead time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — Manner India ships worldwide. We have customers in India, the UAE, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and across Europe. International shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout.

Is shipping free within India?

Yes — we offer free shipping on all orders delivered within India. Orders are dispatched from our Jaipur studio within 1 to 2 business days using registered third-party courier partners.

How long does delivery take?

Within India, orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days and typically arrive within 3 to 7 business days. International delivery usually takes 7 to 14 business days after dispatch. Custom and bespoke orders ship after the 3 to 4 week crafting period.

What is your return policy?

As our jewellery is handcrafted to order, we do not offer returns. However, we offer exchanges within 48 hours of delivery in the event of a manufacturing defect or the wrong item being delivered. Please contact info@mannerindia.in with photographs of the issue within 48 hours of receiving your order. Items must be unused, unworn and unaltered to be eligible for exchange.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your piece arrives damaged in transit, please photograph the damage immediately and contact us at info@mannerindia.in or +91 9252919191 within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange an exchange or repair at no cost to you.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of placing your order. After this point we are unable to recall the shipment. Customised and personalised orders cannot be cancelled once design has been confirmed and crafting has commenced.

How do I care for my Manner India jewellery?

Store your piece in the box or pouch provided, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Remove before swimming, bathing or applying perfume. Gently wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, lotions or cleaning agents. Your piece carries an anti-tarnish coating for lasting shine.

Can 925 silver tarnish over time?

Sterling silver can tarnish with exposure to air, moisture and chemicals over time — this is natural. Manner India pieces carry an anti-tarnish coating that significantly slows this process. With proper care and storage, your piece will retain its lustre for years. If tarnishing occurs, a gentle polish with a silver cloth will restore the shine.

Swati Sahu is the founder, lead designer and gemologist behind Manner India. A formally trained jewellery artist and goldsmith based in Jaipur, Swati created Manner India to design pieces that feel personal, intentional and rooted in Indian artistry. She personally oversees every design and consults directly with customers on custom orders.
