The Gul Roja is named for the rose — the oldest flower in the poetry of longing. A chandbali in 925 sterling silver, carrying a floral Meenakari motif, freshwater pearl drops and a kanoti extension chain that grazes the jaw with every turn of the head. Handcrafted in Jaipur, 12.5 cm of considered detail.
The transparent Meenakari enamel is applied using the plique-à-jour technique — color suspended in light, not laid upon metal — so the petals glow differently at every hour: deep emerald and hot pink by candlelight, brighter and more jewel-toned in daylight.
A chandbali for the bride who wants drama with restraint — substantial enough to anchor a bridal look, light enough to wear from the haldi through to the reception.
